Technical Specification

Of the six major varieties of Garnet, i.e., Almandite, Grossularite, Pyrope, Spessartite, Andradite, Uvarovite, Almandite is

    the best abrasive Garnet with the composition of 3FeO, AI203, 3SI02.

The mine consists of almandite variety only and the Garnet produced by IOGS is naturally a high grade Garnet abrasive.
